Lalibela Journal of Agriculture and Applied Sciences (LJAAS)
The LJAAS is dedicated to disseminating innovative and interdisciplinary scientific research that advances the missions of Woldia University as a comprehensive institution committed to education, research, and extension. The journal covers a broad range of fields, including soil and crop sciences, animal and veterinary sciences, natural resource management, agricultural economics, rural development, agricultural extension, agribusiness, and applied sciences such as Natural and Health sciences.
LJAAS seeks to publish high-quality papers of significant relevance in these disciplines, contributing to scholarly advancement and practical applications. By fostering research with transformative potential, the journal aims to expand scientific knowledge and support progress in agriculture and related sectors at national and international levels.

Sustainable Practices: Agroecology, precision agriculture, organic farming, and soil-plant-water relationships focused on water use efficiency and irrigation management.
Management & Conservation: Nutrient dynamics, soil nutrient cycling, and fertilizer strategies. Assessments of soil erosion processes, conservation technologies, and land management.
Climate & Resilience: Impact of climate change on soil/crop dynamics, adaptation strategies, carbon sequestration, and greenhouse gas emissions.
